These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Deal Master (the "Service"), a negotiation-training web application operated by Catalyne B2B Sales Acceleration Suite UG (haftungsbeschränkt) in Gründung ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Deal Master lets you play curated negotiation scenarios and, where you have the necessary credits, generate practice scenarios from information you provide. The Service is for training and educational purposes only. It is not legal, financial, or professional negotiation advice, and outcomes in practice scenarios do not predict real-world results.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. One person per account; do not share accounts.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully or to infringe anyone's rights;
- submit content you have no right to use, or that is unlawful, harmful, or confidential to a third party without authorization;
- attempt to extract scenario answer keys, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service, or circumvent access or usage limits (including the credit system);
- resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
4. Credits, paid features & pricing
Some features (such as generating your own scenarios, or unlocking the full scenario library) require credits or a paid unlock. Prices, credit amounts, and what is free versus paid are shown in the Service and may change; changes do not affect purchases already made. Paid features are described further in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Any payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; we do not store full card details.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its scenarios, engine, text, and design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own training. You retain ownership of the information you submit to generate scenarios ("Your Content") and grant us a licence to process it solely to provide the Service (see the Privacy Policy).
6. Availability & changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, and we aim to give reasonable notice of material changes. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available"; to the extent permitted by law we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for injury to life, body, or health, or under mandatory statutory liability). Subject to that, we are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence; for slight negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible and on which you may reasonably rely), and then only for foreseeable, typical damage. Any further liability is excluded.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your Account page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. intellectual property, liability, governing law) survive.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country where you live are unaffected. If you are a consumer, the statutory place of jurisdiction applies.
